We are Out of Anger. Coming to you from Ogden, UT, our passion for music and connecting with people is what fuels us in life. We feel that music is the best way for us to communicate a strong message connected to a powerful emotion that can really impact the world.
STEVEN G: LEAD SINGER/LEAD GUITAR
Steven G is more than just your typical buff, handsome, and charismatic lead singer/lead guitarist. He is quite possibly the hardest working front-man out there.
As charming as he is on stage, Steve grew up a very shy guy. To his advantage, this gave him the time and energy to craft himself into the man he is today.
Not only does Steven G sing and play in the band, he also writes the lyrics, solos/lead parts, and some entire songs.
He has been the driving force behind the band by creating the website, handling most of the photography/video, campaigning for live shows by designing and handing out flyers, and developing the entire intricate live show.
Steven G dreams of being able to live his life on his terms by spending it creating music and entertainment for the world.
JL COOPER: DRUMS
JL COOPER was born, or some say "spawned", in the hot, sandy deserts of Pheonix AZ. It's not completely known who, or what, the parentage was which created such a unique creature that is the JL Cooper.
But what we do know is he started to be interested in percussion at an early existence. He watched the tribes of the world take their drum sticks and use them in new and interesting ways, hitting anything and everything around them.
JL Cooper understood this percussive language which was being spoken and he knew he must learn how to use them, try to perfect them, and bring them with him to show everyone, everywhere all around the world, so they too can be inspired by them.
JL Cooper also likes club sandwiches.
JERRY GARCIA: RHYTHM GUITAR
JERRY GARCIA (no, not THAT Jerry Garcia) was born in Los Angeles but has traveled to, and lived in, many other states and countries. He has loved music since his beginning. His grandfather and father ensured music was always playing no matter the occasion. This only fueled his love for music and he quickly developed a passion for learning how to play an instrument. Fast forward to the teen years, and music became the best way to express himself.
Life happened and Jerry put away the guitar for several years, taking it out only to put on new strings or play a few licks then tuck it back away, but his love for music never faded. Like his father and grandfather, Jerry always had music playing. Then he noticed that same interest and love for music in his kids. He brushed off the dust, bought a new amp, and remembered why he picked up a guitar in the first place. Now he just needed to see if anyone needed a guitar player. Enter OUT OF ANGER.
Jerry can’t get enough of playing in front of a crowd. A primal energy takes over and the music is the driving force behind it. He may be the FNG in the band, but he belongs here and he knows it.
JESSICA GARRISON: BASS
JESSICA is the female sexual powerhouse this band needed to skyrocket them to stardom. She brings fierce, feisty, fiery sex appeal, booming low-frequency grooves, and a glamorous style, unmatched by any other.
